Named after the naturalist J.G. Children, not because they are particularly suitable for kids, though as fate would have it, they are.

These relatively small pythons can be variable in colour and pattern. Snake Ranch is breeding animals that are both boldly patterned or have no pattern at all as adults. They can be fussy feeders as hatchlings so it is important to ensure your snake is feeding well before you get it. As adults they are generally docile, friendly and very relaxed around people, however young animals can be a bit snappy if they feel threatened.

These snakes can be very personable and great company.
