Beauty is a subjective quality, but in the not-necessarily-objective view of the Snake Ranch team, 'Stimmos' are hands-down the most spectacular of the Children's python group (genus Antaresia). This small (to about 1m in length), robust python can be distinguished from the others in the group by its mostly red background colour. It is also perhaps the most docile of the group, making a fantastic pet for everyone from beginner to the must-have collector. Snake Ranch specializes in Stimson's pythons from the west coast - with established breeding groups originating from various Western Australian locales. We are also building up our breeding group of spectacularly coloured Stimson's pythons from the wheat belt district - way east of Perth.
