About Us
|
Towards the end of 2012 and after 8 years "Running The Ranch" John was keen to move on to new projects. The decision was made to sell Snake Ranch to Chris Williams and Martin Kennedy. Chris and Marty have both have been in the hobby for many years and it is their aim to build on the good name Snake Ranch currently holds, and hopefully take the company to new and exciting heights. Recently Snake Ranch was able to secure Wayne Adcock as the company's new head keeper. His achievements breeding most species of Australia's pythons are exceptional, and his arrival at the Ranch ensure a very exciting future for us. He will oversee several new and very exciting breeding programs and manage the keeping staff who look after the adult breeders and our very large, and very busy nursery. The Snake Ranch administration & sales team can be contacted to arrange the purchase of any of our available animals.

Upon hatching, pythons are moved to the Snake Ranch nursery, where ‘feeders’ are established prior to distribution. Some species, including womas like the one pictured left, are natural-born food-hogs, and would probably try to eat a shoe if given the chance. Other species unfortunately can take much more work and patience to establish desired feed patterns.
